The Wellness Training community

All those who are following the incredible adventure of the Vendée Globe at the moment will be aware of the importance of daily rest for the skippers. Sleep and diet are both paramount, as both are dependent on individual biorhythms and physical fitness levels.

At Wellness Training, we have always been interested in the strategies and techniques deployed on these long ocean races which can last several weeks or even months, during which ultimate vigilance and concentration are the keystones of performance and success.

It is these strategies that we are offering your employees today, a model of well-being based on healthy behaviour, through raising their awareness of physical fitness, healthy eating and techniques for rest and recuperation.
Comparing a skipper and a company employee, central to our model of life balance, finds its best illustration during our meeting with skipper Marc Guillemot, and has led to various partnerships over the past few years (1st place in 7.5 in Spi-Ouest 2017, Multi-hull Trophy in 2018, “La Solitaire du Figaro” 2019).

Today we encourage you to push this parallel further, to allow your employee to share Marc Guillemot’s and other famous skippers’ team experiences at sea, aboard the brand-new catamaran MG5 currently under construction at Multiplast in Vannes. Risk management, team management, strategic decision-making, communication have such vital importance at sea and yet find their echo within today’s fast-moving and uncertain environment.
You can follow the stages of construction of the MG5 or book a team-building seminar for your team directly on the website: www.mg5windrift.bzh
